Happiness-Colored Landscapes

I set out to take these photographs while thinking about "Eternity at a Moment" and considering once more what photography means to me. While photographs can be approached from various angles and perspectives, when I think about what it might be that makes people take photographs, it seems it is when they feel that something is "beautiful," "wonderful," or "joyous." Personally, I like photographs taken at times when something makes me happy and I desire to preserve the moment.
This attitude of mine is perhaps rather commonplace and not what one would expect from a "professional." However, I think that my job is to seek out happy or dreamlike scenes and preserve them as pictures with some of my own personal flavoring added. For this project, I tried making a conscious effort to create pictures of scene that contained people enjoying themselves. What I ended up selecting, however, were colorful and quiet pictures similar those I usually take. There are no people visible in these scenes, but I shot them while thinking how nice it would be if viewers could hear the voices of others who were present at the scenes exclaiming, "Beautiful!" "Wonderful!" or "What fun!" I would be most happy if viewers found joy in these "Happiness-Colored Landscapes."
Feedback on having used 18-270mm (Model B008)
As I would expect from a Tamron high-power zoom lens, considerable progress has been made. I like that, because one lens handles everything, I can quickly respond to scene changes without missing a shooting chance. Its light weight and compactness enabled me to feel lighthearted during the shooting.
